Business Challenge
General Electric was looking for a more sustainable and efficient carton for their Halogen Head Lamps.
Solution
We presented to GE an e-flute design with 1 glue seam and the blank size of the folding carton design. which eliminated the need for master shippers. The lamp is held in place using locking tabs on the minor flaps.
Results
We provided a new carton design for GE Lighting that resulted in a savings of $250,000 per year. As well as, an additional $400,000 a year by eliminating the master shipper due to the superior strength of the e-flute carton.
